Log Cabin Walls Painted White
I m torn between all white windows or adding a contrast to my white walls and doing dark windows.
Log cabin walls painted white. The red tones from the rug and couch upholstery work well with the artwork and curtains within the space. We re the white ones just not painted yet or did you do a mix of window door colors. The interior sides of the walls were already painted when we moved into our 1935 log cabin and i can t imagine them being wood. Our living room would look like a dungeon.
I see in your picture you have both. You could leave them to darken naturally over time or apply a stain or clear finish to enhance the color and texture of the logs. But now it looks like a 30 s bungalow that happens to have a few walls made of logs. Brightly painted furniture and fabrics make a log interior warm and happy.
