Siplast lightweight insulating concrete is available in four mix designs. Concreate panels are only 1 8 thick and weigh a mere 1 3 lbs sq ft making them significantly safer and easier to handle than conventional concrete panels. This includes 7 1 4 of eps foam and 2 3 8 fiber reinforced shotcrete on both sides of the foam.

These components come together in one simple to install system that can be erected in much less time than traditional building methods. Each design encapsulates the insulation board in insulating concrete. The sandwich design provides an insulated wall for thermal efficiency and moisture control. With very low thermal conductivity the high strength c grid connectors help deliver a sandwich wall panel with insulation values up to r 37 depending on the thickness and type of foam insulation.

The completed insulated wall assembly meets the requirements of continuous insulation as defined by ashrae 90 1. The standard solarcrete insulated concrete wall is 12 thick. The four designs represent a range of compressive and tensile strengths allowing a choice of system based on substrate and specific project circumstances.
